In the past, changes happened gradually due to factors like industrialization, urbanization, and Western influences. But now, advancements in communication technology have greatly hastened the pace of social change.

While some changes brought about by technology have been positive, such as increased access to information and opportunities for connection with people from different parts of the world, there are also negative consequences. One such consequence is the impact on family and social life. For instance, people are spending more time on their phones and computers, which can lead to a decrease in face-to-face interactions and social skills. Additionally, the constant availability of information and news can cause anxiety and overwhelm.
